February 18th, the Native American Community Center will hold two
fundraisers to try to raise $4000 to rent an office for a year. The first
event will be from 5:30-8:30 PM, a very generous server at Nick's English Hut, named
Natalie, has offered to donate her tips to NACC. That is in the backroom
at Nick's. Nick's will also donate 20% of their proceeds from her tables.
Second, from 7:00 PM on, at the Neal Marshall Black Culture Center, there
will be a silent art auction and dinner. Admission is $5. If you would
like to donate arts and crafts for the auction or more information, e-mail

February 28, the Native Arts Series sponsored by NACC and the Mathers will
continue with a fingerweaving workshop taught by Rebecca Riall. That is
from 11:30-2:30 at the Mathers Museum of World Culture. Materials will be
provided, but registration is required and space is limited. E-mail
