Our History
The Native American Community Center of Bloomington, Inc., was founded in August 2008 by American Indian and allied community members, Indiana University and Ivy Tech students, and others who committed to creating an autonomous community center to serve all American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians in southern Indiana.
We formally incorporated in September 2008 and received our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt determination in July 2009.
